PTG-4

Introducing our latest Tool and Cutter Grinder, the PTG-4 with its four-station wheel and manifold changer changes the wheel pack and coolant manifold simultaneously. Designed for solid carbide tool manufacturers and special application grinding companies, these machines have the versatility, horsepower and performance to handle any tool, including medical industry cutting tools. The PTG-4 features a 20 HP grinding spindle, 10” diameter grinding wheel capacity for special applications, a direct drive 1000 RPM headstock, and our wheel probe system. The PTG-4 is built to make tools.

PTG-4 Performance Features

Auto HSK Grinding Wheel Arbor allows for automatic wheel changes with the 4 Staion Wheel Changer, while providing the necessary locating repeatability for off-line wheel dressing and wheel measuring. HSK Quick-Release Precision Hydraulic Chucks with Sleeves is available for precision chucking of tools from 1/8 to 1-1/4 inch diameter range. Cat 50 Collet Chuck and Collet Set is available for chucking tools from 1/8 to 1 inch diameter range. PC-Based Computer with Flat Panel Monitor instead of an industrial computer. The latest in personal computer technology provides the necessary speed for running 3D simulations at the machine and allows for quick and inexpensive upgrades.
